Who Is Damerlin Baez?
Damerlin Baez became well known as Biggie after appearing on Baddies West, which premiered in January 2023. She first appeared through the Baddies West audition process and later became part of the main cast. Her confident personality and involvement in major storylines quickly made her one of the more recognizable people on the show. Her connection with the franchise continued after her first season, as she appeared in later Baddies programs and remained active in the series through 2026.
Early Life, Providence, and Dominican Roots
Baez is strongly connected with Providence, Rhode Island, although public sources do not fully agree about her exact birthplace. Several biography websites say she was born in Providence and has Dominican family roots, while a 2026 report from Diario Libre described her as being born in the Dominican Republic before moving to the United States at age 11. Because these reports are different, the safest way to describe her background is that Providence is her established U.S. hometown and her Dominican heritage is an important part of her identity.
Some public profiles also say she attended Hope High School and later studied at the Community College of Rhode Island, although strong primary records supporting these education details are limited. Her connection to Dominican culture is easier to see in her public career, especially in the way she talks about her roots and includes Caribbean influences in her music. This is important because many online biographies present every early-life detail as certain, even when some information has not been fully confirmed.
Work Before Reality Television
Before becoming widely known through Baddies, Baez was already involved in nightlife and events in Providence. Several profiles describe her as an event planner or promoter, and some also report that she worked security at Lit Lounge. This background matches the event-focused and business-minded image she later brought to television. However, there is no reliable public timeline showing every part of her early work, so exact claims about her clients, income, or business size should be treated carefully.
Damerlin Baez Career on Baddies
Baez’s major television breakthrough came when she joined Baddies West, the third season of the Zeus Network series. After taking part in the auditions, she became a main cast member and was involved in the friendships, arguments, rivalries, travel, and club appearances that shaped the season. The show introduced Biggie to a much larger audience and gave her a lasting place within the Baddies franchise.
Her role continued to grow after Baddies West. She returned during the Baddies East period and later appeared in Baddies Caribbean and Baddies Midwest. She also took part in audition-related programming as her position within the franchise became stronger. These appearances helped turn her from a new cast member into a familiar face for regular viewers of the series.
One of the most important updates in her career is her involvement with Baddies USA: Chapter Two in 2026. Zeus continued featuring the cast in a season built around touring, performances, group meetings, and the drama that the franchise is known for. Current television listings continued to identify Damerlin Baez as part of the Baddies USA cast. This means her 2026 television work is an important part of her current career rather than simply an update to her original Baddies West appearance.
From Biggie to La Biggie: Her Music Career
One part of Damerlin Baez’s career that older biographies often do not explain in much detail is her work in music. Under the name La Biggie, she has released several songs, including “LA Baddies,” “WWD” with Tesehki, “Big Smoke,” “Answer to Me,” “Picos,” “Toast To Life,” and “Push Of A Button.” Music listings also credit Damerlin Baez as a songwriter on releases such as “WWD,” which helps confirm the connection between her real name and the La Biggie stage name.
Her music career became more noticeable in 2026. She released “MAMA” during the year, while “TETEO,” featuring Chael Produciendo, arrived on May 29, 2026. The release information for “TETEO” shows an exclusive licensing arrangement involving Atlantic Recording Corporation and Zeus Music LLC, giving her music career a stronger industry connection than many older biography articles mention.
In May 2026, Diario Libre also reported on the release of “TETEO” and described the song as a mix of Dominican and U.S. urban influences. The report connected her sound with dembow, rap, and modern urban music, which fits closely with the Dominican identity she has shown throughout her public career. This gives a clearer picture of where her career may be heading, as reality television helped her gain a large audience while music has become another important platform for the La Biggie name.
Latest Damerlin Baez Updates in 2026
The strongest confirmed updates about Damerlin Baez in 2026 are her continued involvement with Baddies USA: Chapter Two and her new music releases. She remained active within the Baddies franchise while also adding songs such as “MAMA” and “TETEO” to her music catalog. The release of “TETEO” is especially notable because of its connection with Zeus Music and Atlantic Records. Together, these developments show that television and music remain the two main areas of her public career in 2026.
Personal Life and Privacy
Baez shares parts of her career, culture, and entertainment life with the public, but reliable information about her private relationships and family is limited. Some biography websites include claims about her relationship status or relatives, but many of these details are difficult to verify properly. Because of this, it is better not to present those claims as confirmed facts.
What is much clearer is her strong connection to Providence and her Dominican heritage. Both have remained visible throughout her television and music career, and her move into Caribbean-influenced music has made that cultural background even more noticeable. Her public image is therefore much easier to understand through her career and cultural identity than through unconfirmed details about her private life.
What Is Damerlin Baez’s Net Worth in 2026?
There is no reliable public financial record that confirms Damerlin Baez’s exact net worth. Online websites give very different estimates, with some placing her wealth in the lower hundreds of thousands of dollars and others suggesting a figure close to $1 million. These numbers should only be treated as estimates as of 2026 because there are no public financial documents confirming them.
Her visible sources of income may include reality television, event appearances, music, social media, brand work, and hosting opportunities. However, the exact amount she earns from each area has not been publicly disclosed. For this reason, any exact net worth figure or claim about how much she earns per episode should be treated as speculation unless it is supported by a contract, financial filing, or direct public statement.
How This Was Researched
I researched this biography by reviewing the main pages that cover Damerlin Baez and Biggie, then comparing that information with stronger entertainment, television, and music sources. I checked official Zeus pages, Apple Music and Spotify listings, 2026 music coverage from Diario Libre, and several public biography profiles to see where the information matched and where it differed. The biggest gaps in existing coverage were outdated Baddies details, limited information about her 2026 music career, and conflicting reports about her birthplace. Where public information was unclear, I have explained that rather than making assumptions.
